The mealshould feel as personal as the vows.
Holly Tate creates wedding experiences around the people, place and feeling you want your guests to remember—from the first planning conversation to the last plate served.
“They turned a fabulous meal into an evening of perfection.”

“John and Holly were not only open to catering … to our needs, but also did research on Nigerian food and were up for a challenge.”
Begin with what you want them to remember.
Before a menu takes shape, John and Holly want to understand the celebration around it: who will be at the table, how you want the room to feel and what matters most when the evening is over. That conversation gives the culinary and service teams something more meaningful than a list of dishes. It gives them a point of view.
You do not need to arrive with every decision made. Their role is to help you make the decisions that belong together—and to recognize the venue, service and timing details that are easy to miss when you have never planned this particular celebration before.
The menu is part of the memory, not a separate decision sitting beside it.
Custom is not a formula. Custom is about you!
It is the process of making the food, service and setting work as one experience. The menu collection gives the conversation a place to begin; the final composition is developed for the event.
The people
Guest preferences, dietary needs and the way this group gathers.
The setting
Venue capabilities, travel, season, load-in and the physical rhythm of service.
The atmosphere
Formal, relaxed, abundant, intimate or somewhere between categories.
The service
Plated dinner, buffet, family-style dining, culinary stations, cocktail reception or a purposeful combination.
The memory
The one feeling, flavor or moment the couple wants guests to carry home.
A personal beginning. A disciplined finish.
The relationship remains human throughout, while responsibility moves deliberately to the people best equipped for each stage.

Prepare and execute
Heather and Chef Ben lead the operational and culinary work, carrying forward the priorities established with John and Holly through preparation, service and the final guest interaction.
The kitchen comes closer to the moment.
Many catered meals travel farther from the kitchen than anyone would choose in a restaurant. Holly Tate’s mobile culinary operation was built to change that equation. When the venue and event allow, the team can cook, finish and plate on location—protecting temperature, timing, texture and presentation much closer to service.
It is not spectacle for its own sake. It is infrastructure designed around consistency.

The promise should survive the handoff.
The care established in the first conversation must still be visible when the room is being set, the kitchen is moving and guests begin to arrive. John and Holly help define the experience. Heather translates it into an operating plan. Chef Ben directs the culinary work. The service team carries it to the table with judgment, warmth and attention.

Different people lead different moments, but the client should experience one team.
